According to the Markit/HSBC Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) for December, Turkey's manufacturing sector is signaling growth for 2013, having risen for a fourth consecutive month. Among the 400 Turkish companies that compose the index, feedback indicates business conditions as being the most favorable since October 2011. Increases in the rate of output growth and corporate purchasing activity have contributed to the favorable conditions, as workforce numbers have seen the sharpest rise in the last 12 months.
